I of course couldn't wait to convert the patterns to wire and beads !

Bead "camp" Workshop

My friend who works with orphans and vulnerable children in Namibia, asked me to teach some young ladies in her program. So we had a week of bead camp over the summer holiday break . Here is what they made. Good work girls !

Wear looped once or twice, or even as a belt. Lots and lots of beads are crocheted with strong thread and then glass beads and coral fringe complete the lariat. 150mm us $ 42

Snow Queen necklace and bracelets

These are crocheted with tiny stitches of copper wire and lots and lots of seed beads. 

The Bauble necklace bracelets and ear rings are net stitched with tiny seed beads over a wooden base bead. Only two ladies in our group are able to do this detailed and time comsuming work.

Crocheted multi strand necklaces are crocheted with fine copper wire and glass beads. They are available in many color combinations.
